Scientists have created a nose spray that improves brain function to remember the material, reading at night. The molecule of the immune system (interleukin 6), an input through the nose to the brain, helps preserve the memories and keep them during the phase of sleep with rapid eye movement.
Scientists from the University of Loopback (Germany) were invited to the sleep lab 17 young people who, after reading at night or listening to the stories used to spray the nose with interleukin-6 or placebo. Laboratory workers watched their dream of electric brain activity. The next morning, they were asked to record heard and read at night. Under the action of interleukin students remembered more. Back |
