minocycline in laboratory animals. It turns out that the available drug significantly reduces the level of brain damage, if it is to enter the patient immediately after a stroke.
To date the only effective medicine in the treatment of ischemic stroke is thrombolytic means tPA. However, the drug actually helps only 2% of patients, because the effect of narrowly focused.
