Nitric oxide helps the bacteria to combat
antibiotics, reports BBC News. It was discovered by the scientists from New York University.

There shall be sufficed to increase the activity of existing drugs with their effect even in small dosage.
According to the Secretary General of the British Society for antimicrobial chemotherapy, Mr. Matthew Dryden, this discovery could be useful. The resistance of bacteria to antibiotics is a growing problem in medicine. Experts have been warning long time that there is necessity for new approaches solving this problem.
